I, Jameil Hall, founder of this Black-owned and veteran-owned business, Nyeusi City, was born in Canada in 1991, lived in England 1992-1999, and have lived in California ever since. My father is a Jamaican with a PhD in Molecular Pathology, and my mother is Indian, with a Master of Business Administration. I have one younger brother who is completing his B.S. in Kinesiology at Sacramento State University. I served in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 2017. I completed my B.A. in Sociology at California State University, Northridge in May 2020 and currently work as the Program Director at a Long-term Offender Reentry Recovery facility for state parolees in Los Angeles, CA.
My goal for Nyeusi City is to combat the systemic oppression of Black America by creating a cultural brand that keeps the Black dollar in the Black community, to make Black spending directly benefit Black people.
